ALTO MIRA 3 – CHÀ DE FEIJOAL
To go from Alto Mira 3 to Chã de Feijoal you will need to pass through the suggestive Chã de Morte.
The Routes
From Chã de Morte, head towards Bordeira: you will arrive after a steep climb of more than 1h30.
The surrounding landscape will be incredible. Cross the mountain overlooking Bordeira de Norte, from where you can enjoy the panorama of the Ribeira das Patas crater and the famous Cabo Verde Canyon. The most difficult part will be overcome, following the riverbed you will reach Chã de Feijoal.
At Chã de Feijoal you can go to the grocery store to buy some supplies and take refuge in the various houses that welcome tourists, namely staying at the Lilua Refuge managed by the local association and taking a taste at the cheese factory. and the women’s cooperative that deals with milk processing.
