Água das Caldeiras, is a community located in the Cova Ribeira da Torre e Paúl Natural Park. Its privileged position makes this community one of the most visited on the island. The local population lives mainly from rainfed agriculture, livestock farming and forestry maintenance work. The main products grown are: beans, corn, sweet and common potatoes, etc.

Here the project financed an interpretation center, an interpretative trail and the terrace of Casa das Caldeiras.
