Monteiros coffee is internationally recognized. The Coffea species Arabica has been produced for approximately 200 years, at altitudes between 350 and 1300 meters.
Here, in volcanic soils blessed with unique microclimates, coffee is grown in rich organic matter. From the Adega do Cutelo Alto you can stroll among the harvests, learn about the processing of the beans, their grinding and finally taste the coffee.
The workshop is seasonal. This workshop will allow tourists to come into direct contact with a Cape Verdean family, understand their life, difficulties and resources.
