The project “Support for environmentally sustainable female micro-entrepreneurship in the rural tourism sector, aiming at the resilience of vulnerable sectors” took place on the islands of Santo Antão, Fogo and in the Serra Malagueta area, on the island of Santiago.
The project financed 9 community projects, 2 interpretation centers, 36 individual projects, awareness activities with schools and communities and the training of 160 people on the three islands.
Focusing on the protected areas of the aforementioned islands, it worked together with partners and local communities to increase tourism potential and create new entrepreneurial opportunities for locals.
