Guava, papaya, mango are transformed into tasty jellies, transformed by the wise and experienced hands of the ladies from local women's associations. Amupal do Planalto Leste and the women of João Afonso created two associations where they use the fruit and local tradition to show, teach and let tourists taste their delicacies.
Two different communities to be able to participate in this laboratory from two different points. Seasonal workshops.
Women from the cooperative will show the jam production chain, allowing tourists to participate and take their own jar home. This workshop will allow tourists to get in touch with a group of Cape Verdean women and mothers who are heads of families, understanding their lives, difficulties and resources.
