Grogue is an alcoholic drink made from sugar cane, a cross between grappa and rum, widespread throughout the archipelago.
If traditionally the warehouses were open-air and saw the use of oxen to crush the sugar cane, today they are real factories which combine tradition and modernity.
Seasonal workshop.
This laboratory will allow tourists to come into contact with a community, to discover how to live in a community without electricity, to come into contact with Cape Verdean families, to understand their lives, their difficulties and their resources.
