São Jorge

In São Jorge we are all a bit of fishermen, the sea is just below, just go down and get to the salt flats, you know? To fish for tuna, which is a very popular fish, we use a bait called Djam Frem , is difficult to find, lives in rock cavities and many people use nets to catch it. Here, Djam Frem it is enjoyed by all large fish. A sinker is tied to the end of a line, tie the bait and let it go down. It is very important to leave the other end of the line free to avoid accidents. Line fishing is a game of forces between man and fish.

From Monte Preto, an extinct volcano, we go down the path to Salinas, formed thanks to the lava stratification of past eruptions. I can't live without the sea, I go to Salinas every day, in the evening, in the afternoon and at night. Every place I’ve visited in my life has a sea.
