Couscous is prepared with corn flour cooked in boiling water and a little sugar. To give it shape, the bindi is used , a traditional instrument of Cape Verdean cuisine, made of baked earth and of different sizes.
Once ready, it is excellent to accompany with cane honey or butter. Simple, traditional preparation and easy to replicate even when you return home.
This workshop will allow tourists to get in touch with a group of Cape Verdean women and mothers who are heads of families, understanding their lives, difficulties and resources.
